This wonderful Mormon Trail guide (paperback) was published by the Mormon Trails Association in 1997. The text is written by Stanley B. Kimball. Included are many close-up maps of segments of the Pioneer Trail. Click on the thumbnail images at left to see an example from page 25.

Also included is a beautiful fold-up map of the Mormon Trail, 8" x 47", from the National Parks Service. This colorful and detailed map shows both the old trail and place names as well as modern highways and current cities and towns. It is not bound to the book, but is inserted in an envelope on the inside back cover of the book.

This out of print book is very desirable and would be a great resource for travelers along I-80 or other parts of the Mormon Trail. Originally priced at $6.00 in 1997, it is now available for $8.95 plus shipping, including the National Parks Service map.
